A few new changes, Tuesday’s will have two classes, one that starts at 3:00-4:30 pm to cater to the Irving community and other LAUSD schools that get out early, and a second class that starts at 4-5:30 pm. Aftercare will be available for an additional $10 for the students that start at 3pm in case parents need a little more time. Thursday Classes will be from 4:00- 5:30pm.
It's usually crunch time as we're getting everything out of the oven. Please let me know ahead of pick up if you're in a hurry, so we can make sure your child's food is ready first.
The Silver Lake Kitchen reserves the right to dismiss any student due to frequent absences, disciplinary problems, overdue tuition payments and/or parental noncompliance with our policies.
Cancellation Policy
As a small business, The Silver Lake Kitchen carefully plans each class and camp based on the number of registered participants. Staffing, ingredients, and supplies are purchased in advance. Cancellations made within 48 hours are not eligible for a refund. Cancellations made within 7 days will receive 25% of the total tuition refunded. More info below.
Refunds are not offered for missed classes or late cancellations, as planning and purchasing are based on confirmed registrations.
If you need to cancel your child’s participation, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and support of our small business.
Cancellations for after-school classes must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 48 hours are not eligible for a refund. A makeup class may be offered only if space is available on another date.

To maintain a safe and healthy environment for all participants, students should not attend camp if they are experiencing any signs of illness, including but not limited to fever, nausea, vomiting, or other contagious symptoms.
The Silver Lake Kitchen reserves the right to dismiss any student who arrives exhibiting symptoms of illness. This decision is made at the discretion of staff to protect the well-being of all attendees and staff members.

Students are allotted a 10-minute grace period at the start of class, any later and the student could be behind in the cooking process. We will try to catch the student up, but it does become difficult to complete the days assignment. Please do not drop off students more than 5 minutes prior to the start of class and be sure to pick them up promptly.
